Book Review : The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

73% of reviewers on Amazon give this book a 5 out of 5 and having instigated the book’s SAVERS acronym for morning routine I am quickly beginning to see why.

The book spells out the life SAVERS morning routine one step at a time:

Silence a.k.a meditation

Affirmations – training your subconscious brain with positive thoughts to help us think and act in new ways

Visualisation – using your imagination to help dreams and goals to materialise

Excercise – healthy body and healthy mind

Reading – to keep on learning every day

Scribing or writing down reflections, to do lists and things for which to be grateful

5 years ago I was very skeptical about this kind of self-development. The consensus from Miracle Morning people, however appears to be that whoever gives this a try finds new levels of productivity, purpose and energy. If celebrity endorsement is important to you then you can find many examples of successful famous people applying these principles.

I also recommended this to a client last week, who read the book in two days and immediately adopted, with great feedback.

Is it time for you to make a new commitment to your personal growth and productivity?
